Access the "Benefits" tab and click on the "Optional Life Insurance Rates Table" line.
Once you are in the screen, click on the "Modify" icon and indicate the date and reason for the change. See Benefits "Reason for the Modification"
Then enter the "Unit Rate" that your rate will refer to in the "Unit Rate" field. For example: "1000"; "5000"; "10000"; etc..
Age 1: Enter the age from which the rates apply;
Age 2: Enter the age to which the rates apply.
Single Rate: Repeat the same rate in all four (4) columns.
Rates based on the sex: Enter the "Male" rate in the "Regular Male" and "Male Non Smoker" columns and the "Female" rate in the two (2) columns that apply to women.
Rates based on tobacco use: Enter the "Regular" rate in the "Regular Male" and "Regular Female" columns and the "Nonsmoker" rate in the two (2) "Nonsmoker" columns.
Rates based on the sex and tobacco use: Indicate each rate in the appropriate column.
Please note that this operation is identical for the VFA and VFC benefits. However, if the rate is identical for both (2) benefits, you can repeat the rate by using the Copy / Paste procedure |
